Keeping the momentum of the CFD community towards the usage of Open Source CFD

This year’s Open Source CFD International Conference will address the continued momentum of the CFD community towards the usage of Open Source CFD.

The 2008 event, which took place from the 4th till the 5th of December in Berlin,  brought together users, developers, academics and industry managers. More than 120 delegates from over 16 countries assembled to hear presentations and exchange views on topics ranging from multi-phase flow to industrial optimisation enabled by the versatile OPENFOAM toolbox.

The 2007 event took place in November 2007, in London. It brought together more than 100 delegates from the industry as well as users, developers, and academics from 14 countries. The unexpected interest by the industry and the users-developers community made it an immediate success and established it as annual institution.
