1.  OpenFOAM International Conference 2007

The conference will commence on 26th November 2007, at 11:00am with the registration desks opening at 10:30am. It will close on 27th November 2007, at 15:00pm.

Exhibition: Open from 10:00 – 18:00 on day one and 8:30 – 15:30 on day two.

Presentations will take place throughout both days with the timetable to be confirmed. Conference presenters receive a reduced rate admission.

Evening meal and entertainment will be provided on Monday 26th November.

2.  OpenFOAM Basic Training Course

OpenFOAM 2-day Basic Training courses will take place on the following dates:

• 22nd/23rd November

• 28th/29th November 

Training course will commence at 09:00 on day-1 and will close at 17:00 on day-2.  

The training course is aimed for CFD engineers with little or no experience in using OpenFOAM. The objectives of the training are to: 

• Provide an introduction to the OpenFOAM software toolkit

• Oversee trainees in performing tutorial cases

• Provide guidance on performing a trainees own case

• Provide an introduction to OpenFOAM application programming interface (API)

The training consists of lectures and hands-on tutorials. To ensure the professional quality of the training, the trainers are experienced CFD engineers using OpenFOAM in their daily work. 

The training will be conducted by ICON.
